Mr. Cuffer: Hi Lucy! You look tired. Mrs. Millow: Hi Tom! I am tired. It is because of my kids. Mr. Cuffer: What's wrong? Mrs. Millow: They have so many hobbies that I have no free time for myself! Mr. Cuffer: I'm not sure I understand. Mrs. Millow: Well, I have to drive them, help them and go to different shows. Mr. Cuffer: Do they have many extra lessons? Mrs. Millow: Yes. They go swimming twice a week. They start their practice at 5 a.m. Mr. Cuffer: You must be joking. What time do you get up? Mrs. Millow: They go swimming on Monday and Wednesday so twice a week I have to get up at 3 a.m. I prepare breakfast, wake my children up and drive them to the swimming pool. Then I wait for them and drive them to school. Mr. Cuffer: Poor you! Mrs. Millow: It is not all. My youngest daughter belongs to a theatrical group. She goes to special classes three times a week. The worst thing is that I have to prepare all her costumes. I hate doing it. I am not good at making clothes. Mr. Cuffer: Do your children have any other hobbies? Mrs. Millow: Unfortunately yes. They play music instruments. They have their own band called The Flower Pots. I have to go to all their concerts. Mr. Cuffer: Do they play concerts often? Mrs. Millow: Every weekend. Can you imagine?! Instead of sleeping in my bed I stand in front of a stage with a group of teenagers. Mr. Cuffer: Do you have time to meet your friends? Mrs. Millow: No. Once a week I have to meet other parents. We talk about our children, collect money, organize camps. But I don't like these people. They are boring. What about your children? Mr. Cuffer: They are not interested in anything. They usually watch TV or play computer games. I have no problems with my children. Mrs. Millow: You are so lucky. Mr. Cuffer: I always thought my children are not very ambitious but after our talk I am actually happy.
