Alright folks, in this clip, I'm going to
teach you how to draw a cartoon character
with a very shy expression, bashful. I'm going
to come right up here in this corner. And
the way we'll start this one, is, we're going
to draw the eyes, slightly angled down. And
this guy's head's going to be kind of tilted
downwards. Kind of like that. Than what we'll
do, is we're going to come in here, and we'll
draw his, again, his "eyebro", eyelids will
be kind of low. He'll be looking toward the
person, that is making him feel kind of bashful.
Then he's going to have, sort of like a, a
little grin like he's , just kind of too afraid,
to say anything. A little screwed up grin,
there. And like, he's just too bashful to
go over and talk to this person. In fact,
if you want, you could even make the grin
bigger, if you want. Either way, it's OK.
Small, little, the grin is actually not the
most important part. The most important part
of this one, I would say, is the pose that
our character finds himself in. The whole,
head tilted down thing, is what really makes
this guy look bashful. Aha, he almost looks
like he could be chuckling there, a little
bit. Yeah, he's like, "heh", "heh", too shy
to say anything. The eyes down, lids down,
kind of looking, like away from his, like
the person, ah, you know, the lid's kind of,
the pupils pointed in the direction of the
person, but, his head facing the other way.
A little grin there, head kind of down to
his body. That's what makes the character
look shy. So, there you go.
